fresh was born from the idea that good food doesn't have to be complicated.  All of our products are made with the freshest, most natural, and minimally processed ingredients.  We are a small, family run business with a focus on quality, not quantity.  It is our mission to provide the highest quality meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat foods using only the best ingredients. 

Who We Are

Chef and owner Mike Dunlap has worked as a chef for over 15 years. Mike earned his culinary degree at The Pittsburgh Institute of Culinary Art.  Mike returned home to Cleveland to continue his career and worked as a Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef in some of Cleveland's finest restaurants, including Circo Zibibbo in Cleveland's Warehouse District and Sage Bistro in the Tremont neighborhood.  Mike also worked at Cleveland's West Side Market where he trained as a butcher.

He's thrilled to bring his vision of freshly prepared meals made with only the best local, natural and seasonal ingredients to Broadview Heights and the Cleveland area. 

Tom Kearns, formerly of Tom Kearns' Pork Ave., brings over 25 years of experience in butchering from Cleveland's own West Side Market.  Stop by and see Tom for all of your custom requests.  Want a special cut of pork or beef?  Tom's your man and he is eager to meet your needs.  In his free time, Tom's enjoys golfing and traveling with his wife.
